Don’t wait to get the treatment you need.

At Ace Dental we don’t think you should have to wait days for an appointment if you have a dental emergency, whether you are a regular patient or not. We provide a same‑day service for emergencies so that you don’t have to put up with pain, discomfort or embarrassment for longer than necessary. We know that toothache and broken dentures don’t just come along between 9 and 5, and most sports injuries happen at weekends. We also know that some of these complaints come with terrible pain while others, like a broken tooth, can be very uncomfortable, and often a dental emergency threatens to ruin your enjoyment of a special event.

Typical emergency dental treatments include:

  • Broken or dislodged teeth
  • Severe toothache
  • Tooth and gum abscess
  • Lost filling or crown
  • Broken dentures

Freshly knocked out teeth

If one or more of your teeth have been knocked out, the sooner you contact a dentist the better because the teeth might still be saved. In fact if the tooth and socket are clean, you will give it the best chance of survival if you replant it immediately.

Severe toothache

Toothache can be excruciating and distressing. In toothache emergencies we aim to relieve you of that pain at that first visit. We will also provide advice on what actions are needed to permanently solve the problem that is causing the pain.

Frequently asked questions about emergency dentistry.

What qualifies as a dental emergency in Marylebone?

Any sudden dental issue that causes pain, swelling, bleeding or damage to a tooth or restoration is an emergency. Broken or dislodged teeth, severe toothache, abscesses and lost fillings or crowns all require urgent attention.

How quickly can you see me?

We reserve time each day for emergencies and aim to see patients from Marylebone, Soho or Paddington the same day they call.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Try to replant the tooth immediately, holding it by the crown, not the root. If that’s not possible, keep it in milk and get to our Central London practice straight away.

Do you offer sedation for emergency treatment?

Yes. If you’re anxious or in severe pain, we can provide intravenous sedation so you feel relaxed while we carry out the necessary treatment.

How much does an emergency appointment cost in Central London?

We charge a fixed fee for an emergency consultation and pain relief. Further treatment will be quoted once we’ve assessed your needs.

Can I get an evening emergency appointment?

Yes. We offer flexible hours outside the standard 9–5 schedule to make sure you can get help whenever you need it.

Will my dental insurance cover emergency care?

Many insurers cover emergency appointments, but it’s best to check with your provider. We can provide receipts and treatment plans for claims.
