Guy Mclellan holds the rare distinction of being qualified as both a doctor and a dentist.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England who enjoys more than a decade of experience working at the forefront of ENT and plastic surgery.
Since 2001, Guy has held the position of honorary consultant at Charing Cross Hospital, where he works in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
His interest in dental implantology began in 1994 when he first worked on complex reconstructive surgery for patients with cleft lip and palate, facial cancer and other intra-oral conditions. Guy’s extensive experience in this area has proven invaluable in establishing his reputation as a highly-skilled surgical implantologist who consistently achieves outstanding results for his private patients.
His ability to place zygomatic and pterygoid placements, and carry out complex bone grafts allow him to work on complex cases with patients who may have been refused treatment elsewhere due to compromised jawbone structure.
Guy is a passionate believer in passing on skills and knowledge to the next generation of dentists. He often lectures for Nobel Biocare and the Association of Dental Implantology. He is also a member of the European Association of Osseointegration and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
